Centralised remote management

BRAINWATT® Remote Control replaces traditional manual approaches in which energy managers, on-site personnel or technicians directly manage systems such as cogeneration units, trigeneration systems, HVAC, lighting systems, heating plants and heat pumps. Through remote control functionalities, systems can be managed centrally and efficiently.

Scheduled remote control

BRAINWATT® Remote Control manages machine configurations such as ON/OFF cycles and setpoints through a calendar-based scheduling system. Daily operating intervals and base setpoints (minimum and maximum values) can be defined for different operating modes.

Integration with cogeneration and trigeneration systems

BRAINWATT® Remote Control collects the main operational measurements provided by the PLC of a cogeneration system through standard communication protocols:
  • Electricity produced
  • Auxiliary electrical consumption
  • Natural gas consumption
  • Thermal energy produced (hot water)
  • Steam production
  • Operating states and setpoints

Integration with HVAC systems

BRAINWATT® Remote Controlinterfaces with HVAC systems from the main market manufacturers through physical interfaces communicating via standard protocols such as Modbus or BACnet.

Typical integrated parameters include:

  • System start/stop
  • Setpoint configuration
  • Fan speed
  • Thermostat temperature
  • Recirculation temperature
  • Operational status alarms

Integration with heating plants

BRAINWATT® Remote Control manages the main operating functions of heating plants remotely, bypassing local controls and enabling system management via a web interface.

Typical monitored parameters include:

  • Supply temperature of heating circuits
  • Return temperature of heating circuits
  • DHW temperature
  • Indoor temperatures
  • Outdoor temperature
  • Pump and boiler status and alarms
